Sa cr\u00e9ation est attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 Jos\u00e9 Gomes de S\u00e1, un marchand de morue du XIXe si\u00e8cle. L'histoire raconte que, pour rendre hommage \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re, il d\u00e9cida de cr\u00e9er un plat combinant les saveurs de la morue, des pommes de terre, des oignons et des olives.<\/span>\n<p>La recette est rapidement devenue populaire, devenant une ic\u00f4ne de la gastronomie portugaise.
